It will be a busy week for most big clubs in Europe this week especially for those playing in their domestic leagues as well as the Uefa Champions League and Europa League.

Ahead of Arsenal clash vs. Benfica, coach Mikel Arteta has given an update on two Gunners players who he says he is not sure     of their availability.

Arteta, hin a statement has provided a fresh injury update on Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney ahead of the game with Benfica at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Thursday night.

According to Arteta, he revealed he was unsure whether either player would return to play against Benfica on Thursday, adding that Tierney has got ‘a bigger chance’ of making the squad for the midweek match.

Recall that the duo of Partey and Tierney due to injury both missed Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Leeds United on Sunday in the Premier League.

The Gunners coach in a post-match press conference after Arsenal defeated Leeds said, “It seems unlikely at the moment, but I don’t know.

He, however, added that Tierney has a higher chance of playing this week as he expected to start training with the team in a few days time.
