Arteta reacts as Arsenal top EPL table after Man City vs Liverpool game

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reacted to his side’s move to the top of the Premier League table.

Recall that the North London side emerged as the latest toppers after Liverpool and Man City held each other to a 1-1 draw.

In a reaction, Areta said it felt great to be on top of the league table.

He stated that Arsenal want to be there and hopefully win the Premier League title.

Speaking on Liverpool v Manchester City and the title race, Arteta said via Arsenal’s website:

“It’s great to be top, that’s for sure – it was an amazing game of football with two magnificent teams, with so many alternatives. I think it’s an amazing situation that we are even involved, looking at the level that those two teams have, and we are still there and we’re still at the top. So, the ambition rises, we want to continue to be there, and we have to go game-by-game.”
