Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been handed double major injury boosts ahead of the North London club’s next games.

Recall the Gunners midfielder Declan Rice left the field with what appeared to be a hamstring injury as they defeated Crystal Palace 5-0 over the weekend.

A report via the Daily Mail revealed the early signs are that he will be available for Arsenal’s next week’s Premier League game at Nottingham Forest.

Aside from Rice, the Gunners receive more positive news as Jurrien Timber continues to make good progress in his recovery from the cruciate knee ligament injury.

Recall that Timber suffered the injury against Forest on the opening day of the season in August.

Following recovery from surgery, the Dutchman is now close to being able to train with the rest of the first team group for the first time since August.
