Arsenal’s Ben White names the best defender he has ever played with

Arsenal star Ben White, in a recent statement, has named Takehiro Tomiyasu as the best right-back he’s played within his football career.

According to White, he stressed that Tomiyasu does simple things at a world-class level, adding that he is amazing.

The Japan international moved to Emirate stadium from Bologna last summer transfer window for £15.5 million and has impressed in his first few months at the Gunners.

He has already cemented his place as Mikel Arteta’s first-choice right-back.

“Tomi is amazing. He’s the best right-back I have ever played with.

“He’s always focused. It’s an honour to play next to him.

“Tomi does the simple things at a world-class level. He is very alert and he isn’t careless in games.

“From the beginning, he’s completely understood English and speaks as well as I do,” White told DAZN Japan.

Arsenal have been impressive this season as they have returned to the top four in the EPL.

The Gunners are currently seated at the 4th spot with 35 points on the table.

They will return to action during the midweek when they face Liverpool in the EFL.
