Arsenal terminate the contract of this player

Arsenal happen to be one of the clubs that took part in the completion as well as end of some contract deal in the deadline transfer window.

According to the reports, Arsenal have terminated the contract of Shkodran Mustafi.

Sky Germany reports that the Gunners reached the agreement to let the German go.

Mustafi’s contract deal was left with six months to go and he originally would have been a free against If Arsenal had let him stay till the end of the season, but the defender is expected to return to Germany where he would sign for Schalke 04.

The German will be reunited with Sead Kolasinac, who was allowed to leave Emirate on a six-month loan deal.

Schalke are bringing in Mustafi as a replacement for Ozan Kabak who is on his way to joining Liverpool.

The case of Mustafi at Arsenal is quite related to Mesut Ozil as he has not started a single league match for Arsenal this season.

With Mustafi’s departure, the Gunners are now left with five centre-back at the club, which includes Gabriel, David Luiz, Pablo Mari, Rob Holding and Calum Chambers.

It is best for Mustafi to leave as he seems not to be in Arteta’s plans at Arsenal.
