Arsenal target this RB Leipzig midfielder

According to the recent reports, Arsenal have been linked with moves to sign RB Leipzig midfielder, Tyler Adams.

The reports revealed that the Gunners are hoping to make a swoop for the America international once the summer transfer window commences.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal are attracted to Adams’s versatility which they believe would be useful to their squad next season.

While the United States international can play as a defensive midfielder, which was the role he played at the club level last season, he however can also be used as a right-sided midfielder and a right-back.

With this, he is a three in one player Arsenal would love to have next season as he gives them the chance to cover other areas.

However, Arsenal must be ready to spend in other to convince Adams to join them as RB Leipzig are in a strong position to keep hold of him.

This is because he still has a contract with the German outfit until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

So far, the American midfielder has made 66 appearances for RB Leipzig since joining them from New York Red Bulls in 2019.

He made 37 appearances for the German side last season in all competitions, scoring one goal and one assist in the process.
