The latest report has revealed that Arsenal plans to sell their goalkeeper, Bernd Leno, in the next transfer window.

Leno, who used to be a regular starter for the Gunners, lost his spot this season following the arrival of Aaron Ramsdale, who was signed in the recent summer transfer window.

The German goalkeeper lost his place in Mikel Arteta’s first-team lineup last weekend. Ramsdale, who was signed for £30 million, was handed his first Premier League start for the Gunners against Norwich City, with the game ending in a win for the Gunners.

The Daily Mail, in a report, claimed Leno’s future at the Emirates Stadium is now in doubt, and Arsenal may look to sell the German to generate funds for future signings.

The reports, however, claimed the North London club are not planning to sell Leno in the January transfer window but would rather keep him till the next summer window.

This means the Germany international still has enough time to prove himself he hopes to remain at Emirate stadium.

The reports claimed Ramsdale was signed in the summer with the expectation that he would become the club’s number one goalie by the end of this season, but it seems the Gunners plan have been implemented much sooner than later.
