Arsenal
Arsenal open to selling this midfielder for as low as £8.6 million
Arsenal are reportedly set to offload one of their midfielders in the person of Matteo Guendouzi in the summer transfer window.
The report claimed Arsenal are willing to sell Guendouzi for as little as £8.6m once any club shows interest in him
This comes after the France international recently returned to the North London club after spending the season on loan at Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin, where he made 24 appearances and recorded two goals and three assists.
However, following Arsenal’s poor performance last season, their manager, Mikel Arteta is planning a major overhaul of the first-team squad before the new campaign begins and Guendouzi is thought to be one of several players on that would have to leave.
According to French news outlet Le10Sport, Arsenal will accept any offers made in the region of £8.6m for the 22-year-old this summer.
The reports have claimed that Ligue 1 club Marseille have been heavily linked with a transfer move for Guendouzi, who has just 12 months remaining on his contract, and are reportedly ready to sign him.
Since joining the Gunners from Lorient in July 2018, Guendouzi has made 82 appearances for the North London club across all competitions and was among the squad that won the FA Cup in 2020.
