Arsenal fail to win EPL title yet again – Arteta gives reasons for loss to Liverpool

Arsenal led by manager Mikel Arteta has again failed to win the Premier League title this season despite coming close to emerging as the winner.
Recall that Arsenal in the last two seasons came close to winning the EPL, as the went head-to-head with Manchester City in the title race on both occasions.
While Arsenal were tipped to beat City to the title this season, but the Gunners lost to Arne Slot’s side who have won it in his first season at Liverpool.
Another failure to win the Premier League title this season, means Arteta’s men have now gone five straight seasons without silverware.
The Gunners were knocked out of the Champions League and Carabao Cup in the semi-finals and eliminated from the FA Cup in the third round by Manchester United on penalties.
When speaking on the reasons for his side’s failure to win a silverware this season, Arteta in a statement via Sky Sports blamed red cards and injuries.
The North London side had more players on the sidelines than any other Premier League club this campaign, while their six red cards are also a division high.
Arsenal will now have to work on new plans to achieve their aim next season.
