Arsenal will be busy in the summer transfer window as they have been linked with moves for several players.

A recent report claimed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told the club to sign Chelsea flop Christopher Nkunku.

The Frenchman who signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2023 in a deal worth £52 million from RB Leipzig amid high expectations has failed to deliver.

Nkunku’s time at Stamford Bridge has been marred by injuries and inconsistent form, derailing his debut season in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old striker has made just 14 league appearances and scored only three goals, making the Blues consider offloading him as early as the January window.

Despite his struggles at Chelsea, several clubs in Europe are interested in the France international.

It would be recalled that Nkunku was named Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2021–22, ending the campaign as the league’s top scorer the following year.
