Manchester United midfielder and Portugal international Bruno Fernandes has been experiencing goal drought in the past few games for the Red Devils.

However, the Portugal international ahead of Man Utd game vs Man City this weekend has opened up on his challenges.

Bruno revealed he  ‘knows people are upset’ that he is not scoring goals or providing many assists as in previous seasons but he expect things to turnaround in the Man Utd squad soon.

Recall that Fernandes scored 8 goals including seven assists in 14 appearances in the 2019-20 season and last season, the Portuguese star provided 30 goals as he helped the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to finish second in the Premier League and reaching the Europa League final.

But since scoring a goal in September, Fernandes has gone 11 games without scoring a songle goal for the Red Devils.

“I’m not scoring goals because I’m missing the goal! It’s easy like that,” Fernandes told Sky Sports.

“The way we played in the last two games, I’ve played a little deeper, yeah, but it’s because we changed system and you have to adapt.

“I know people are upset because the numbers are going a little bit low. I’m never happy with myself. I want to always improve and do better.

“The team knows me better and I don’t get the space I got in the beginning because I was someone coming from Portugal and most players didn’t know who Bruno is.

“Now the space is a little bit short for me, the time is a little bit short and I have to improve on that to be quick on shooting and passing and everything to make my game work.”
