United star declares himself fit for England’s Euro 2020 crush tie

Manchester United fans might have the opportunity of seeing their captain, Harry Maguire back on the pitch when England face Scotland in their Euro 2020 second match.

England came into the competition as one of the favourites but had to play the first match against Croatia without Harry Maguire.

Maguire was unable to play a part in the game after failing to recover from an injury he sustained in Manchester United’s 3-1 Premier League win at Aston Villa on May 9.

This injury also saw him sit out of United’s Europa League final against Villarreal, a match they lost on penalty shoot out.

However, Maguire during the press conference ahead of the match against Scotland stated that he’s fit and ready to rumble.

Maguire stated that he feels good, he’s back available, he’s been training and he is looking forward to it.

According to the 28-years-old defender, the injury was a setback club football-wise but Internationally, he wanted to come into the tournament with a lot of games under his belt with full fitness.

Maguire added that he’s done a few sessions now and feel like his fitness is there, so he will be available for the game.

Tyrone Mings took Maguire’s place in the first match against Croatia and he will likely be the one to sit out if the Manchester United defender feature against Scotland.
