Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently facing selection problem in his goalkeeping department as Dean Henderson continue to compete with David De Gea.

David De Gea has become an important figure in Manchester United for the past few years but the Spain international seem to be losing his place to Henderson.

The 30-year-old only started two of United’s last 12 league matches last term and this has sparked rumours that he might be leaving United this summer transfer window.

However, United have not been able to sort out a deal with any club and as the transfer window draws closer to it’s end, Fabrizio Romano has revealed the latest update about De Gea’s future.

The transfer expert stated that De Gea will be staying at United this summer.

According to Romano, David De Gea’s salary has stopped rival clubs making a move for him adding that his salary is a huge one and no one in the market is looking for top goalkeepers like the Spain international.

David De Gea failed to appear for Spain during Euro 2020 as he was the second goalkeeper at the tournament.
