Ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford after 3-0 defeat to Tottenham uncertain

Manchester United hosted North London club Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at Old Trafford in a match that ended in a shocking defeats for the Red Devils.

Mid-way into the match, some Man Utd fans were already calling for manager Erik ten Hag’s sack over the Red Devils’ poor first half display against Ange Postecoglou’s side

Brennan Johnson scored the first goal after a cross from Mickey van de Ven in the opening three minutes before Bruno Fernandes was sent off for  James Maddison.

The North London club then made a scored in second half thanks to Dejan Kulusevski with the away fans chanting “you’re getting sacked in the morning” to Ten Hag.

Dominic Solanke made it three later in the half in the pouring rain at, with Tottenham dominating the match.

The defeat comes after Man Utd were held to a 1-1 draw against Dutch side Twente in the UEFA Europa League during the week.

With the Red Devils’ recent poor performanance against Tottenham, Ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford is now uncertain.

Recall that the Red Devils were on the verge of sacking the Dutchman last season but he managed to retain his job after winning the FA Cup against rivals Manchester City.
