Pogba returns to Juventus, reportedly signed 4-year deal

Former Man Utd midfielder and France international Paul Pogba has reportedly signed a new deal with his former Italian club Juventus.

Pogba left Man Utd as a free agent after six years at Old Trafford and has now returned to Italy.

According to Sky Sports News journalist Dharmesh Sheth, Pogba has agreed to sign a four-year contract with the Serie A giants, and the Frenchman is set to arrive in Turin on Saturday for his medical before finalising the deal.

Before this, the Frenchman had been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, but as it is, he seems to be close to returning to Juve.

Pogba spent four years in Turin between 2012 and 2016, scoring 34 goals and creating 40 assists in 177 appearances across all competitions.

He also won a total of nine domestic trophies with the Old Ladies before he signed for Man Utd, where he was unable to win a single trophy in his last five years at Old Trafford.

Pogba in a recent statement revealed he is keen to show his former club Man United that they “made a mistake” letting him leave the club this summer.
