Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has revealed how exhausting it is breaking into the club no1 choice in the goalkeeping department.

Dean Henderson displayed what he’s capable of while on loan at Sheffield United for two seasons, and it wasn’t surprising when United to keep him at the club.

The England international challenged David De Gea for the number one spot, and he was able to prove his worth with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer forced to shuffle both goalkeepers.

With a new season set to kick-off in the next few weeks, David De Gea has continued to be linked with a move away from United, and Henderson might become the new number one goalkeeper.

Henderson has now revealed the sacrifice he had to pay before attaining the status he has achieved at the club.

The young goalkeeper, according to Goal, stayed that after last season, it was very difficult for him, and he worked every day, day-in and day-out, grinding down to get into that team at Man United.

Henderson noted that he went through every brick wall he could get through, he fought hard, and when he got into the team, he was shattered and exhausted.
