Manchester United still eager to sign Barcelona midfielder

Manchester United are allegedly still resolved to bring Barcelona midfielder Ilaix Moriba to Old Trafford.

The talented youngster has made the breakthrough into the Barcelona first team during the 2020-21 season, featuring on seven occasions for the club in all competitions, including four outings for La Liga.

A new report asserted that Manchester United had made a ‘firm offer’ for the 18-year-old as they hoped to ward off competition from RB Leipzig to get his signature during this present summer’s transfer window.

However, Barcelona are supposed to be working on contract extension for the youngster, which is expected to lapse toward the end of the 2021-22 season.
