Former Manchester United star Gary Neville in a recent statement spoke on the future of  the club’s manager Erik ten Hag.

According to Neville, the Red Devils will not sack the Dutchman in the middle of the season.

Neville made this known speaking via Sky Sports, following Man United win against Coventry City in their FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

The former football star said a decision will be made on the future of Ten Hag and the players in the summer.

“They’ll make the decision on the manager and the players at the end of the season – they were never going to sack Ten Hag in the middle of the season,” Neville said.

“But they’ve made huge structural changes and that’s the most potent thing, a sign that they weren’t happy with what they were seeing at the top of the club.

“I don’t think that will stop. There’s going to be some upheaval and turbulence for some time to come.”

Meanwhile, Man Utd will now face their arch-rivals Man City in the FA Cup finals. Recall that the Citizens made it the finals after defeating Chelsea on Saturday.
