Man Utd unveil new coach to work with Ten Hag
Manchester United are doing everything possible to support manager Erik ten Hag ahead of the new season.
The recent report revealed the Red Devils have appointed another first-team coach in person of Andreas Georgson.
Manchester United confirmed the arrival of the new coach in a statement on their website ahead of their pre-season friendly clash with Arsenal on Saturday.
Georgson is the newest coach to join Ten Hag’s staff this summer and is expected to work with fellow first-team coaches Steve McClaren and Darren Fletcher as the Red Devils plan to compete for trophies next season.
The 42-year-old moved to Old Trafford from Norwegian side Lillestrom, where he was head coach until January of this year.
He has previously worked with some clubs in the English Premier League like Brentford, Arsenal and Southampton in the past, which is a boost for the Red Devils.
His arrival comes weeks after Man United confirmed that Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy joined the club, as first-team assistant managers.
Jelle ten Rouwelaar is also on board as a goalkeeping coach.
Meanwhile, like some of their rival clubs, the Red Devils are also working tirelessly on signing new players before the summer transfer window deadline.
