Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has dished an advice to one of the club’s strikers ahead of the new season.

The striker was revealed to be Amad Diallo as Ten Hag urged him step up this season after his “bad times” at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag in a statement with MUTV made this known after Diallo scored in their 2-0 win over Rangers in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

So far, the talented 22-year-old has made only 21 competitive appearance for Man United since he moved to Old Trafford three years ago from Atalanta.

Recall that Diallo had been sent out on loan to Rangers and Sunderland but Ten Hag is now hoping he would be able to break into Ten Hag..

Ten Hag who pointed out that Daillo is still young stressed that the striker has gained experience with his loan transfer.

Recall that Daillo during last season, experience a tough times with bad injuries.

Ten Hag also spoke about the Stoker’s time in the Championship.

With the look of things Man Utd may have plans to keep the striker in their squad ahead of next season especially as they will be competing for trophies again, having missed two chances to win the Premier League title against Man City.
