Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that the Red Devils are already in talks to extend the contract of Edison Cavani.

This is coming after Man Utd win in the Europa Champions League on Thursday against Real Sociedad with the game ending with a 4-0 scoreline.

So far, Cavani has netted seven times in 24 appearances this season for the Red Devils.

With his current deal set to be over at the end of this season, Ole has disclosed that the top-rated forward could get an extension.

The Red Devils coach went on to hail Cavani for hid performance in the Red Devils squad since joining them.

“I can only say Edinson has done well for us. I’ve been impressed with him and he’s gelled really well with the group,” Ole said.

Ole added that the club management will sit down with him and speak with him in the near future, of course, to see his plans and their plans.

“You always speak to your players and with his contract situation, we’re very pleased with what he’s done,” Ole added.

Man Utd will return to action this weekend when they play against Newcastle Utd in the premier league.

The Red Devils are presently seated in the top four on the EPL table.
