Man Utd decide on Ruben Amorim’s future

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has come under pressure following their recent 3-0 defeat to their arch-rival Manchester City in the first Premiere League derby this season.
Despite the performance, Manchester Evening News reported that the Red Devils board have continued to have faith in Amorim.
On Sunday, Man Utd were hammered 3-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.
Although Ruben’s led squad created decent chances against their Man City, they lacked the cutting edge to score against the former Premier League champions.
The outcome has left Man Utd at the 14th spot on the league table after four matches.
Although former player, Gary Neville, warned that Amorim will be “in trouble” if they remain in that spot on the log heading to October, it is believed that the 40-year-old is safe for now.
During his 10 months in charge as Man Utd manager, Amorim has won only 31 points after 31 Premier League matches, with 16 defeats along the way.
Following their defeat to Man City, Man Utd will return to action when they face fifth place side Chelsea.
The Red Devils will hope to bounce back with a win against the Blues, to reduce the tension on Amorim.
