Andre Onana will not be manning Manchester United goalpost this season as the club on Thursday confirmed that the goalkeeper has left Old Trafford to join Trabzonspor on loan transfer.

The Red Devils made this known ahead of their faceoff against Manchester City in the Premier League derby this season on Sunday.

Confirming the Cameroon star’s exit, Man Utd also wished him success at his new club.

Onana will spend the 2025/26 campaign with the Turkish side, having made 102 appearances for the Red Devils.

Recall that the Cameroon international signed for Man Utd from Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan in July 2023.

The goalie was part of the Man United squad that lifted the Emirates FA Cup after a 2-1 victory over City at Wembley Stadium.

He, however, struggled at the goalpost as Man Utd struggled to compete in the top four.
