How Garnacho has proven his worth at Man Utd

Former Manchester City star, Sergio Aguero, has singled out Manchester United star, Alejandro Garnacho as he stated that he has proven his worth already at Old Trafford.

Aguero in a statement tipped his countryman to have a successful career with Man Utd while defending him amid criticism over his recent performances.

So far this season, Garnacho has scored just seven goals and created four assists in 19 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils.

The 20-year-old star, however, has not been impressive in the way many supporters and pundits expected.

He was also recent criticised after Man Utd 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town on Sunday under their new manager Amorim.

Aguero in a statement on Stake.com (via Manchester Evening News) said people tend to forget how young Garnacho is.

According to the Man City legend, the player’s raw talent got him to the Premier League at a young age, and he’s proven his worth already.

Aguero added that he has seen many of Garnacho’s teammates leaning in to help him develop to become a pro player, which massive.

“If he has that type of mentorship, I’m sure there’s a bright future ahead of him,” the former Man City star added.
