Former Manchester United player Roy Keane has hit at the Red Devils’ midfielder Christian Eriksen over the comments he made after a Europa League match last month.

It is no longer news that Man Utd have had it bad so far this season and  were held to a 1-1 draw in their first match in Europe this season against Holland top top-division side, Twente.

Recall that Eriksen was named in Erik ten Hag’s starting squad for the game and managed to score Man United’s only goal of the evening.

In a post match statement, Eriksen expressed disappointment, adding that the Red Devils did not do enough to win the game.

He added that that the Dutch club looked like they wanted it more than Man United, which, according to him, was not right.

Keane in what looked like a response via The Overlap recalled how he watch Man Utf’s game against Twente again.

He his reaction during the match, stressing that it was Eriksen, and a poor game for the Red Devils.

“So he’s coming out after the game, I’m looking at him, even if you feel that, and that has happened where you thought they wanted it more that,” he added.
