Fernandes to earn £200,000 in new deal

With the season coming to an end, Manchester United are already working on a new deal to motivate a hardworking player in the person of Bruno Fernandes.

The reports revealed that the Red Devils are planning to hand the Portugal international a new deal even though he still has four more years to go in his current contract.

According to the reports, the new deal will see Fernandes earn double his previous wage worth around £200,000-per-week.

Recall that Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford in the January 2020 transfer window and has become one of the club’s most valuable players.

This season, the midfielder leads Man United’s goal-scoring chart goalscoring and has also provided 18 assists.

This is a good move from the Red Devils in order to keep the Portugal star at the club and also keep him motivated to continue next season.

In another report, Man Utd would be facing Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League in the coming week and hopefully, they get to seal this season with a trophy.

They are also seated in the second spot on the league table which means a Uefa Champions League qualification for next season is certain.
