Man Utd will return to action in the English Premier League on Tuesday night when they make a short trip to play Burnley.

Ahead of the match, the latest report has revealed that the Red Devils will be without two of their players in the persons of Alex Telles and Fred.

This comes as Telles and Fred tested positive for COVID-19.

While the two football stars will be unavailable, coach Ralf Rangnick will have Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani back in the squad.

Man United confirmed that Telles was unavailable to play their FA Cup defeat to Middlesbrough on Friday after he tested positive before the match, while Fred reported to training on Monday only to be sent home.

However, there are speculations that Telles would recover in time to play against Southampton on Saturday, but Fred is now a major doubt to feature in that game, as he will need to be isolated for at least the next five days.

“The Brazilian pair have tested positive for Covid-19, meaning they now have to isolate in line with Government guidelines,” a United statement read.
