Almost done: Bologna star to undergo medical at Man Utd

Manchester United are close to sealing a deal for a new player this summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have been busy this summer as they have been linked with several players who they want to sign for their manager Erik ten Hag against next season.

Joshua Zirkzee is one of the names that had been linked to Old Trafford and it is appears he is close to becoming a Man Utd player.

This comes as a recent report disclosed that Zirkzee is set to undergo medicals with Manchester United after the EPL club agreed to a €42.5 million deal with Bologna.

According to the reports, Zirkzee’s medical has been scheduled for Friday. He is also expected to meet with the Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag.

The update has also been confirmed by popular football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano who wrote in a tweet, “Medical tests will take place on Friday, then face-to-face meeting with Erik ten Hag.”

Romano also disclosed that the Bologna star penned a contract with the Red Devils until June 2029 plus an option for further year.

He added that a €42.5m fee will be paid over three years instead of €40m in one solution for the footballer.
