Belgium International Adnan Januzaj has admitted he will “return home” when Real Sociedad travel to Old Trafford in the Europa League to face Manchester United.

Januzaj was tipped for greatness at United when he burst onto the scene under David Moyes in 2013 and scored goals against West Ham and Newcastle United.

Adnan Januzaj scored four times in 27 appearances during his breakthrough campaign in 2013/14 and then a further 21 times the following campaign under Louis van Gaal, a move that saw him handed Ryan Giggs’ famous number 11 shirt.

However, the former Manchester United youngster struggled to fulfil his early potential and after back-to-back seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund and then Sunderland reuniting him with Moyes, he eventually left the club permanently to join Sociedad in 2017.

Former Manchester United forward has now reacted to the news he will return to Manchester United for the first time next year when Real Sociedad face his former club.

According to the forward it is clear that he’s returning home, where he has grown as a player.

Januzaj noted that his heart is now in Real Sociedad and he’s going to do is best to get the Spanish team through.
