5 midfielders on Ten Hag’s target list for Man Utd

Manchester United have continued to remain busy this summer transfer window as they are keen on signing a new player before the deadline.

Ten Hag is said to be interested signing a new midfielder and has five players on his target list.

A report by Sky Sports revealed the Red Devils are still working on possible arrivals in midfield with talks continuing with Burnley over Sander Berge.

They are also in talks with AS Monaco over Youssouf Fofana and still have their eyes on Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte.

However, Man Utd will need Ugarte’s asking price to come down to consider going back to the discussion table for the midfielder.

The report revealed Richard Rios of Palmeiras is also a player of interest for the Red Devils, but like Ugarte, his transfer fee could prove prohibitive.

Another option on their list is Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat, who Man United had on loan last season.

The Red Devils have few days to wrap up their summer transfer deal so they can focus on the new season.

Meanwhile, Man Utd will commence the new season in the Premier League with an opening match against Fulham at Old Trafford this weekend.
