Liverpool midfielder, Georgino Wijnaldum has reportedly signed a new deal with a new club ahead of the summer transfer window.

The report revealed that Wijnaldum has agreed to a three-year deal with Ligue 1 toppers, Paris Saint Germain PSG and would be joining them when his contract with the Reds end at the end of this month.

Wijnaldum had also been linked with moves to the Spanish club, Barcelona with a report stressing that the Catalans had reached a personal agreement with the top-rated midfielder.

However, The Guardian reports that Wijnaldum has now signed a three-year contract with PSG and the deal will be finalised once he completes his medical.

The report revealed that PSG current coach, Mauricio Pochettino had urged the club to make move for Wijnaldum as he believed it would be to their advantage to sign an experienced player like him.

With this latest development, Liverpool are already on the lookout for a new midfielder who they hope to bring in as a replacement for Wijnaldum.

Wijnaldum since joining Liverpool has made 237 appearances for the club and has won the Premier League, Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup with them.
