Liverpool FC assistant manager Peter Krawietz has insisted that Sadio Mane has exceeded all expectations at the club.

Sadio Mane had many suitors when Liverpool signed him in June 2016, and the reds paid £34 million to fellow English side Southampton FC.

This move raised many eyebrows from pundits who believe the Senegalese forward did not worth such an amount fee.

However, Sadio Mane has been able to silence his critics by putting in an impressive performance for Liverpool.

Sadio Mane, in his five years with Liverpool, has won the Premier League, UEFA ChampionsLeague, and FIFA Club World Cup, and he been named the 2019 CAF African Football of the Year.

Speaking with Liverpool’s official website, Krawietz, Jurgen Klopp’s left-hand man, says Sadio Mane player has developed into a quiet leader at the Merseyside giants.

He stated that Mane’s development to become a quiet leader, personality, and readiness to work on certain things.

Krawietz noted that this came to be seen in the fire, which is burning inside Mane on the pitch and a lot of opponents try to provoke him.

According to Krawiets, this is something that Mane learned during the years as well, to stay calm and at the same time not to lose his fire and his will and his ambition to play successful football and to give the opponent no possibility to bring him out of the middle of his brain, to disturb his concentration or his focus.

Krawiets added that Mane had become one of the best professional players in terms of attitude.
