Barcelona deny signing pre-contract deal with this Liverpool player

Recall that over the weekend, ivisionsport reported that the Spanish giant had reached a pre-contract deal with Liverpool star, Goergino Wijnaldum.

Well, according to the latest reports, claimed that Barcelona have denied reaching any agreement with Wijnaldum.

The Liverpool player will be a free agent at the end of this season and has been linked with European clubs notable among them is Barcelona.

A report had claimed that the Catalan manager, Ronald Koeman was keen on reuniting with Wijnaldum at Camp Nou.

Also, a report has disclosed Liverpool are unaware of any agreement being in place between the midfielder and Barcelona.

Barca have also seemingly denied the rumours, with sources close to the club telling Mundo Deportivo that there is “no truth” to the speculation.

Although the Catalan giants have distanced themselves from the rumours, however, the same report indicates that Koeman’s men have not ruled out making a move for the Dutchman.

Wijnaldum continues to be a key player in the Reds squad under coach Jurgen Klopp even though his current will lapse at the end of that season.

It remains unknown if Liverpool will consider extending his contract since they seem not excited to let him leave Anfield.
