Frank Lampard wants Arsenal, Man United target

Moussa Dembélé has been one of the longest-running names in the Chelsea rumor talk, and apparently he’s not leaving at any point in the near future.

L’Equipe (through Sport Witness) are the most recent to connect him with Chelsea, asserting that Frank Lampard himself has requested the prospective 24-year-old because of the potential (likely?) departure of Michy Batshuayi. While Olivier Giroud had intrigued in the last not many matches before the pandemic, and has even earned himself a one-year extension thus, Lampard needs more prominent profundity (and capability) than only one young and one extremely old striker. Also, Giroud’s future is still not 100 percent certain in any case, in spite of the new deal.

Chelsea have obviously been following Dembélé since his young years in the PSG youth system, and his past encounters with Celtic and Fulham are positively valuable. He scored 16 Ligue 1 goals this season and has been probably the best player in the course of the last two seasons, scoring 20 goals in all competition.

Alongside Chelsea, the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are likewise supposed to be keen on the goal each other-game striker. His cost has supposedly dropped significantly, from the underlying €100m to “only” €50m, with Lyon in urgent need of funds. While the new cost unquestionably looks much more sensible than the previous value, it’s still rather colossal, particularly in the current financial atmosphere.
