How Arsenal could win EPL title if Man City lose this game
Former England defender Micah Richards has revealed the match that would determine if Manchester City would win the Premier League title this season or not.
According to Richards, Man City’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur on May 12 is the game to look out for.
While Tottenham Hotspur have lost to Chelsea and Arsenal in previous games, Richards believes they can make the game difficult for Man City.
Richards pointed out that the Citizens don’t have a good record playing at Tottenham.
The former defender made this known while speaking on Sky Sports after Man City thrashed Wolves 5-1 on Saturday.
“Spurs have lost a bit of form. That’s the game you would look at Spurs away; City’s record is not great there,” he said.
The outcome of the match means Pep Guardiola’s men are still one point behind the Gunners, who also defeated Bournemouth 3-0 on Saturday.
The race of who would emerge the winner of this season title between Man City and Arsenal have remains a challenge.
Arsenal are doing everything possible to avoid losing out to the Citizens like they did last season.
It could be the first time in 20 years the North London club would be winning the EPL title and under a different manager Mikel Arteta, who was once a player at Emirates Stadium under former coach Arsene Wenger.
