Wolves assistant coach, Tony Roberts, in a recent statement has reacted to Chelsea’s striker Romelu Lukaku’s fall during their Saturday tie in the Premier League.

Roberts slammed Lukaku, describing the Belgian as a big lump.

Recall that the Blues manager Thomas Tuchel handed the Belgium international a rare start on Saturday after he was left on the substitutes’ bench during last weekend’s defeat at his former club, Everton.

The Belgian striker went on to reward his manager’s faith with his first Premier League goals since December.

He also scored from the penalty spot after the video assistant referee had ruled he had been brought down by Romain Saiss.

“He’s a big lump, isn’t he?” said Roberts who took the post-match press conference in the absence of the Covid-stricken Bruno Lage. “So, for him to go down, I’m not sure.”

The match ended in a 2-2 draw as the Wolves rallied and produced a stunning response, scoring twice in the final 11 minutes.
