Willian reportedly wants to return to Chelsea

Brazil international and Arsenal player, Willian had reportedly been linked with a return to Chelsea.

This is according to SkySports report which revealed that he wants to go back to Stamford Bridge.

Recall that Willian left Chelsea on a free transfer after seven years with the Blues unwilling to give him a 3-year-contract he so desired at that time.

Following the refusal of Chelsea to grant his desire, Willian completed a move to Arsenal instead, however since joining the Gunners, his performance has not been spectacular.

Since joining the Gunners less than a year, Willian has scored just one goal in 37 appearances.

He is said to be looking for a new challenge and he believes, Chelsea under new manage, Thomas Tuchel is what he needs.

The reports however claimed that some clubs in Europe, as well MLS franchise Inter Miami want to sign him but Chelsea would be his No 1 choice.

While he is currently under contract with Arsenal until 2023, it is uncertain that the Blues would want to make any move for him. As it means they would have to pay a transfer fee for a player they allowed to leave the club for nothing 12 months ago.

Also considering his age, Chelsea would not make any move for him this summer.[tps_title][/tps_title]
