Why Saudi club are uncertain about their move for Ziyech

Saudi Pro club Al-Nassr are said to have flagged up a knee problem during Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech’s medical tests.

This is according to Foot Mercato reports as uncertainty arises on Ziyech’s transfer.

The Morocco star has been undergoing tests ahead of his transfer to the Saudi Arabia club.

According to the report, the same knee problem which was also flagged by French club Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the Moroccan collapsed loan transfer back In January, is the same playing out in Saudi.

His move to the French, however, broke down over paperwork and not because of the medical issue.

PSG were keen on proceeding with his transfer to French Ligue 1 after they conducted further tests and it is believed Al-Nassr are also likely to go ahead with further tests.

However, until then Al-Nassr are said to be seriously doubting whether they should sign the Moroccan star this summer.

Ziyech completed a transfer to Chelsea in 2020 from Dutch club Ajax.
