Why Chelsea will win the EPL this season

Former Chelsea star Chris Sutton in a recent statement, has revealed why the Blues will win the EPL title this season.

According to Sutton, the Blues performance vs Norwich City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday that saw them defeat the visiting side by 7-0 scoreline is enough proof that they win the EPL this season.

Sutton stressed that the Blues side under coach Thomas Tuchel are strong, and the academy players are also flourishing under the German manager.

Recall that the Blues trashed Norwich City thanks to Mason Mount’s hat-trick and a strike each from Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Max Aarons’ own goal.

“This is why I believe Chelsea will win the Premier League – their squad is so strong, and their academy players are flourishing,” Sutton told BT Sport.

He stressed that Chelsea’s performance was excellent on Saturday, but last month the performances were not there.

“That is a tremendous mentality to have. They have a squad ready to compete at all levels,” Sutton added.

Following their recent win over Norwich City, Chelsea remain at the top of the English Premier League table with 22 points from 9 games.
