Former Manchester United star Alan Brazil sent a message to Arsenal to hijack Tottenham Hotspur’s move for Brennan Johnson this summer.

Tottenham were said to be leading the race to sign Johnson away from Nottingham Forest before the transfer deadline.

Brazil is of the opinion that the player would be better at the Emirates Stadium, as he advised the Gunners to make a move for the forward.

According to the former Man United star, Eddie Nketiah, who is the Gunners’ second-choice striker, is not very clinical in front of the goal.

Speaking on the matter, Brazil said via HITC, “Would Arsenal not be interested in Johnson, Eddie [Nketiah] is fine.

“But is he clinical enough? And if Jesus gets injured again, then they might struggle up front.”

With the summer transfer window over, Arsenal will have to make do with what they have for the rest of the year.
