Chelsea striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a recent statement has opened up on how his former Arsenal team-mate Alexandre Lacazette reacted to his move to Stamford Bridge.

Recall that the former Arsenal captain left the North London club for Spanish club Barcelona in February but returned to the EPL in a £10m deal on last summer’s transfer deadline day.

Aubamayang made 24 appearances and scored 13 goals for the Catalans and scored 92 in 163 games for the Gunners.

Lacazette, who is said to be one of Aubameyang’s closest pals at Emirate Stadium, was shocked to see the Gabon international sign a deal with Chelsea.

Aubamayang revealed that he got a message from Lacazette and was asked if it was to wish him good luck at the West London club, Aubameyang said: “Nah, no!

“Even before when he just heard about the rumours, he was like, ‘what, nah, really?!’
