Vlahović or Šeško? Striker Arsenal could sign this January

Arsenal are focused on signing a new striker this January transfer window in other to bolster their chances of winning the Premier League title.

With the Gunners no longer consider a title contender this season, the reason to sign a striker becomes important to returning to the top of the table.

So far, the North London club has been linked to a number of strikers across Europe including Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović and RB Liepzig’s Benjamin Šeško.

However, recent reports via Calciomercato revealed Vlahović as a more feasible option than Šeško for the Gunners as they look to sign a striker in January.

Šeško was the Premier League club’s priority but sealing a winter deal for the 21-year-old would be difficult to complete, while negotiations for Vlahović to renew his contract with the Bianconeri are at a standstill.

The 24-year-old forward is also keen on a Premier League move which is a boost for the Gunners.

However, Arsenal will have to be ready to spend big on Vlahović as hisdeal will likely cost them around €60 million, which could allow the Old Ladies make a move for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee as his replacement.
