Former football star Michael Owen has dropped his predictions ahead of the Blues game vs Real Madrid in the UCL on Tuesday night.

Chelsea will return to action in the second leg of the tournament in Spain, having suffered a 3-1 defeat in England last week.

The Champions League second leg tie at the Santiago Bernabeu is expected to be a difficult challenge for the Blues.

Owen said it would be hard for Chelsea to make a comeback against an experienced team like Real Madrid.

Providing his predictions, Owen was quoted by BetVictor as saying: “That was a brilliant result for Real Madrid in London. There is only one man to talk about, Karim Benzema!

“Chelsea had chances at Stamford Bridge and probably should have scored more. I can see them scoring in Madrid, but Real are so experienced and will do enough to go through. 1-1.”

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has already said it would be hard for his side to make a comeback.
