Chelsea will return to action on Wednesday night in the Uefa Champions League when they host Spanish side, Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues would be heading to the match with full confidence following their 2-0 win vs. Fulham over the weekend in the Premier League.

Chelsea also have a higher chance of going to the final of the UCL this season as they held Real Madrid to 1-1 draw in the first leg in Spain.

Ahead of the faceoff, Chelsea have gotten an injury boost as the report revealed that their defender, Antonio Rudiger could be available for the match.

The report revealed that if Rudiger would play for Chelsea he would have to do so with a facemask on.

Recall that the German suffered a facial injury during the 1-1 draw in the first leg in Spain.

The reports revealed that Rudiger trained with a protective mask on his face with the rest of Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

It would be a plus for Chelsea if Rudiger is available to play on Wednesday as they hope to clinch the UCL trophy this season under Thomas Tuchel who took over from Frank Lampard in January this year following a poor outing from the latter.
