Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has singled out Kai Havertz for praise after his impressive performance in the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Recall that the Gunners hosted PSG at Emirates Stadium and claimed their first win this season with a mature display against the Ligue 1 giants.

Thanks to Havertz and Bukayo Saka’s goals in the first half, it was all the North London club needed to seal the win.

So far this season, his recent goal against PSG is Havertz’s fifth goal.

Arteta in a post-match statement lauded the former Chelsea star, who he said has been unbelievable.

“His football brain, the way he understands space, his timing, he brings people together,” Areta said speaking about Havertz.

The Gunners boss added that Havertz’s work ethic has been incredible and now he is a real threat around the box.

Arteta added that he is one of the main players at the moment at Arsenal.

Following the win against PSG, Arsenal will now focus their attention on their weekend match against Southampton in the Premier League.

Recall that Arsenal defeated Leicester City in their last EPL outing and will hope to do the same when they meet Southampton.
