Tuchel tells Chelsea to sign PSG star
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has reportedly made his desire on the transfer market known to the club’s new owner, Todd Boehly.
This comes as the report revealed Tuchel wants the Blues to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe this summer.
The German manager is determined to build his defensive position this summer as they find replacements for Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
While there have been claims of Chelsea’s top target to be Jules Kounde, recent reports also claimed that he has already agreed on personal terms but the Blues have been unable to agree on a fee with Sevilla as of now.
According to The Sun, Tuchel has asked Boehly to instead sign Kimpembe.
When Tuchel left PSG for Chelsea, Kimpembe expressed disappointment to see the German leave after he helped the player win two Ligue 1 titles and reach the Champions League final.
Signing Kimpembe this summer, will, however, be hard for the Blues, considering the French Ligue 1 champions are not under pressure to sell him.
Also, there is no amount of money Chelsea can offer that would convince PSG to sell Kimpembe, considering their financial status.
Except PSG decides to let him leave, Chelsea doesn’t stand a chance.
