Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has revealed his intentions to sign a new deal with the Blues.

Recall that Tuchel was brought in as a replacement for Frank Lampard who was sacked in January.

However, since he arrived at Stamford Bridge, the Germany international has made quite some achievement.

Tuchel helped the Blues moved from the ninth spot on the Premier League table to the top four. He also led them to the final in the FA Cup where they lost to Leicester City.

He has also guided the Blues to the Champions League final where they would face Man City tonight and possibly win their second trophy in the tournament.

While speaking ahead of Saturday evening’s match vs. Manchester City in Porto, Tuchel indicated that he would love to remain at  Chelsea beyond the end of next season, when his current deal is set to expire.

“This is very easy [to answer],” he said when asked about signing a new deal. “I’m just so happy to be here.

“I have never felt so good since I was in Mainz and this feels like the perfect place and the perfect moment.

“I’m so happy to be here, so whatever will come will come. We cannot force things, but, of course, this is my point of view and this is very clear.”
