Tuchel gives injury update on Kante ahead of FA final

Chelsea will return to action this weekend in the FA Cup final where they will battle it out with Leicester City at Wembley stadium.

The Blues will however be heading to the match following a recent defeat to Arsenal in the EPL on Wednesday night.

The Blues lost all three points vs. Arsenal following an error from Jorginho.

Speaking ahead of their weekend clash vs. the Foxes, Thomas Tuchel has given an injury update on N’golo Kante.

With the look of things, it is unlikely that the France international will be available vs. Leicester City.

It was probably due to Kante absence that made Tuchel start Jorginho vs. Arsenal.

“N’Golo was [left out] for pain management,” Tuchel told Chelsea TV.

“He has pain in the Achilles and he suffers from that, so there was no chance [that he could play against Arsenal].

“We miss [Mateo] Kovacic, we didn’t have N’Golo on the bench. This is a huge blow for us in terms of intensity and attitude.”

With the look of things, it is yet to be known if Kante will be available for the match vs. Man City in the Champions League final, which will take place later this month.
