The Blues have all the earmarks of being at the top of the line for the attacker, however, with Kai Havertz thought to be interested to join Frank Lampard’s side instead of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
As indicated report, Bayer Leverkusen are expected back in training on Thursday, and Kai Havertz will tell his club that he needs to join the Blues this summer when the two parties meets.
The Premier League club are purportedly holding on to ensure a Champions League spot for the 2020-21 season before propelling an official offer for the 21-year-old.
Kai Havertz delighted in a great 2019-20 season for Bayer Leverkusen, scoring multiple times and enlisting nine assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.
