Transfer News: Spanish giant identity Manchester United star as next top target

Manchester United have decided to retain Anthony Martial this summer despite the arrival of Jadon Sancho at the club.

However, Real Madrid are monitoring his situation as they have reportedly identify him as an alternative to Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid for the past two season and the arrival of Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain has sparked more rumour about his exit.

Despite this, Paris Saint-Germain will not allow Mbappe leave on a cheap price and Madrid are currently having financial difficulties.

According to a report by Spanish outlet El Gol Digital, Real Madrid are now willing to sign Martial instead of signing Mbappe.

The report claimed Real Madrid will be hoping to work out a loan deal for Martial who joined Manchester United from AS Monaco in the summer of 2015.

Martial has not been able to live up to the hype that brought him to Old Trafford.

Last season, the France international could only managed a return of seven goals and nine assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
